Glen Innes

Glen Innes lies on the Northern Tablelands, NSW, Australia. It is situated where the Gwydir Highway and New England Highway. About 5,173 people live here. Originally, Glen Innes and the areas nearby were owned by the native Ngarabal people. It was Archibald Mosman who is believed to have named the land after Innes, although the land later changed hands, first to the bank, then to two private owners up until then.
